The 1wi App – A Complete Platform in One App

Designed specifically for the best gaming experience on mobile screens

Since 1wi launched, one of the most frequent requests from Malaysian users has been a mobile app that truly works well — not just a website loaded inside an app frame. And that is exactly what 1wi got right. The official 1wi app is built from the ground up with a genuine mobile experience in mind, not simply a desktop version forced into a smaller screen.

The result is an app that is lightweight, responsive, and feels right in your hands. Easy navigation, fast load times even on standard mobile data, and all the core functions you're used to on desktop — everything is there without having to hunt around a cluttered interface.

The 1wi app is available on two major platforms — Android and iOS. Android users can download the APK file directly from the official 1wi website, while iPhone and iPad users can find it on the App Store. Both versions receive simultaneous updates whenever new features are launched, so the experience you get is always up to date regardless of which platform you use.

Why Is the 1wi App Different from the Regular Web Version?

Many Malaysian players accustomed to playing via a web browser may wonder — is there a noticeable difference between using the 1wi app and opening the site through Chrome or Safari? The answer is yes, the difference is quite significant, especially in terms of the actual playing experience.

First, on the matter of speed. The 1wi app loads the game interface faster than a web browser because the UI data is stored locally on your device. When you open a live casino game, you do not need to wait for all visual elements to reload from scratch — only the live video stream needs to load, which means you reach the game table faster.

Second, connection stability. The 1wi app optimises data usage more efficiently than a web browser. This is especially important when playing on mobile data in Malaysia, where network speed and stability can vary. The app is also more resilient to temporary connection drops — it can reconnect faster without needing to reload the entire page.

Third, app-exclusive features. Some 1wi features are only available through the mobile app — including biometric login, push notifications for limited-time promotions, and a mobile-optimised game mode that automatically adjusts the interface layout to fit your screen size. These are features that cannot be fully replicated through a web browser alone.

1wi App Security – Can It Be Trusted?

This is a fair question for any responsible player to ask. When you download a mobile app that involves a financial account, security is the top priority — and 1wi takes this very seriously.

The 1wi app uses 256-bit SSL encryption for all communication between the app and 1wi servers. This means all data transmitted — including login credentials, transaction details, and personal information — is protected with the same level of encryption used by financial institutions and banks worldwide.

For Android, the 1wi APK file is digitally signed with a valid developer certificate. This means you can verify that the APK you downloaded is genuine and has never been modified by a third party. Never download the 1wi APK from unofficial sources, as those files may have been tampered with and could pose security risks.

In addition to encryption, 1wi also supports two-factor authentication (2FA) for your account. Enable this feature in your account security settings for an extra layer of protection — every time you or anyone attempts to log in from a new device, a verification code will be sent to your registered phone number before access is granted.

Live Casino Experience on the 1wi App – Closer to the Table Than Ever

For live casino fans, the 1wi app delivers an experience that genuinely feels like sitting at a real casino table — whether you're relaxing on your sofa or commuting on the MRT. Live dealer video in HD quality, optimised for mobile screens, means you can follow every dealer move clearly without having to zoom in or squint at a small display.

The betting controls in the 1wi app for live casino have been redesigned compared to the desktop version — betting buttons are larger and easier to tap accurately, the table layout is displayed in portrait orientation which suits the natural way we hold a phone, and key game information such as result history and road statistics is shown in a swipeable panel that doesn't obstruct your view of the dealer.

For players who enjoy Baccarat — the most popular live casino game among 1wi Malaysia users — the app interface displays the Big Road, Bead Road and all three small road scoreboards in a format that's easy to read even on a 6-inch screen. This is the kind of detail that shows how seriously 1wi takes the needs of mobile players.

Live Sports Betting on the 1wi App – Every Match Moment in Your Hands

One of the biggest advantages of the 1wi app over competing platforms is a truly responsive live sports betting experience. When you are following a football match in real time and want to place a bet on the spot, every second counts — and the 1wi app ensures odds are updated and bets are processed quickly without frustrating delays.

The app supports pre-match and live betting across a wide range of sports — EPL, Bundesliga, La Liga, FA Cup, NBA, MLB, Grand Slam tennis, esports, and more. The in-app sports view organises matches by category and kick-off time, making it easy to find the event you want quickly without endless scrolling.

The 1wi app's push notification feature is especially useful for sports bettors — you can set reminders for specific matches about to kick off, or receive alerts when the odds for your preferred team shift significantly. This means you'll never miss a good betting opportunity just because you're busy with something else.
